§ 49183

Every person authorized to sign any certificate of age or any permit to work or to employ which allows employment of any minor during or outside school hours, during a vacation of the public schools, or upon the regular school holiday who knowingly certifies to any false statement therein, is guilty of a misdemeanor, and is punishable by a fine of not less than ten dollars ($10) or more than one hundred dollars ($100), or imprisonment for not more than 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
