§ 51915

Added by Stats. 1977, Ch. 809.

In the development of a plan for a comprehensive health education program, the governing board of a school district may include in such plan the employment of the following as resource persons, with or without compensation:

(a)licensed physicians and surgeons, school or public health nurses, county health officers, optometrists, dentists, and other persons licensed by the state to practice in allied health professions, and other persons recognized by the governing board as being experts in the health sciences.
