It is the intent of the Legislature that local plans for special education local plan areas, adopted pursuant to Chapter 2.5 (commencing with Section 56195) and Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 56205), shall provide for federal funds available under Part B of the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (20 U.S.C. Sec. 1400 et seq.) to individuals with exceptional needs enrolled in charter schools.
