The Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development shall consult with the commission in the development by the office of its Health Manpower Plan and recommendations for meeting the needs in California for health science personnel. This consultation shall focus on whether health science education enrollment levels are adequate to meet the state’s health manpower needs by category and specialty within each category.
