A change of organization or a reorganization of the district formed and existing under the provisions of this part may be effected in the manner prescribed by the District Reorganization Act of 1965 (Division 1 (commencing with Section 56000) of Title 6 of the Government Code), and the provisions of that act shall govern any and all such changes of organization or reorganizations.
