Added by Stats. 2018, Ch. 1000, Sec. 9. (AB 2923) Effective January 1, 2019. Repealed as of January 1, 2029, by its own provisions.
(a)This article shall not apply to a district station without unentitled or undeveloped land on July 1, 2018, unless that station entitlement expires. For this purpose, “undeveloped land” includes, but is not limited to, surface parking.
(b)This article shall not preclude or limit the ability of a developer to seek, or the application of, a density bonus, including concessions and incentives from a local government pursuant to Section 65915 of the Government Code.
(c)This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2029, and as of that date is repealed.
