§ 11908

The board shall establish rules for its proceedings and may provide, by ordinance or resolution, that each member shall receive for each attendance at the meetings of the board, or for each day’s service rendered as a director by request of the board, the sum of one hundred dollars ($100). No director shall receive any other compensation, nor receive pay for more than six days in any one calendar month. For purposes of this section, the determination of whether a director’s activities on any specific day are compensable shall be made pursuant to Article 2.3 (commencing with Section 53232) of Chapter 2 of Part 1 of Division 2 of Title 5 of the Government Code.
