control, no director, officer, partner, or employee shall remove or attempt to remove any of the documents except pursuant to a court order or with the consent of the commissioner. However, the directors, officers, partners, and employees of the residential mortgage lender or residential mortgage loan servicer may examine the documents or records. The licensee’s employees shall be permitted to make entries in the documents or records to reflect current transactions. Unless the commissioner has reasonable grounds to believe the documents or records of the licensee have been, or are at risk of being altered or destroyed for purposes of concealing a violation of this division, the licensee shall have access to the documents or records as necessary to conduct its ordinary business affairs.
