In the field of organization research, the department shall:
(a)Counsel with and provide co-ordination to the heads of departments on the internal exchange of information and experience regarding management, organization, manpower, and cost control problems and their solution.
(b)Initiate or, as requested, conduct studies and exchanges of information with other governmental agencies, with industry, and with professional and educational institutions regarding management subjects, publishing or circulating the results, as appropriate, for the
benefit of all or selected segments of the state government.
