In accordance with procedures required by Chapter 8 (commencing with Section 14200), each contract with a capitated health system shall provide for a grievance procedure under which Medi-Cal beneficiaries may submit their grievances. The department shall establish standards for these procedures to include appeals to an entity other than the capitated health system.
