Warrants drawn by the board for payment of principal or interest on bonds shall be drawn upon the county treasurer of a county having funds belonging to the district in his possession, or upon a bank having funds belonging to the district on deposit, and upon the treasurer of the district or the county treasurer of such a county or upon such a bank, as the case may be, for payment of all other claims and demands.
