§ 42973.9

Added by Stats. 2024, Ch. 675, Sec. 5. (AB 863) Effective January 1, 2025. Conditionally inoperative pursuant to Section 42983.5.

A carpet stewardship organization shall be responsible for a carpet stewardship plan and shall make decisions regarding the implementation of a carpet stewardship plan, consistent with this chapter. A carpet stewardship organization shall not delegate any responsibility of its board of directors, or any decisionmaking responsibility regarding a carpet stewardship plan, to a person who is not a member of its board of directors.
