If a majority of the votes cast at the election are “Assessment—Yes,” the district by its board shall at the time of the levy of the annual assessments levy a sum sufficient to raise the amount voted or if the notice of election provides for annual installments, then a sum sufficient to raise the amount of the installment provided in the notice to be raised in the particular year.
