Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 4. Effective January 1, 1996.

The person or institution with whom the child is placed shall give the child a name; the place in which the child is found shall be known as the legal place of birth; and the date of birth shall be determined as closely as possible and shall be known as the legal date of birth.
