§ 33113

Added by Stats. 1963, Ch. 1812.

The appointing officer shall designate the first chairman from among the members. When there is a vacancy in such office, the agency shall elect a chairman from among its members. Unless otherwise prescribed by the legislative body, the term of office as chairman is for the calendar year, or for that portion remaining after he is designated or elected.
