Added by Stats. 1988, Ch. 1568, Sec. 8.5.
(a)In addition to any other fees authorized by this article, the south coast district may adopt, by regulation, a schedule of fees to be assessed on areawide or indirect sources of emissions which are regulated, but for which permits are not issued, by the south coast district to recover the costs of district programs related to these sources.
(b)The south coast district shall not, however, impose any fee under this section for either of the following:
(1)Wildland vegetative management burning, as described in subdivision (c) of Section 39011.
(2)Emergency incident training necessary for the protection of the community and public safety personnel.
